Careers Presentation for Alfreton Park School

At SolidPoint, we believe innovation is not just about technology, it’s about people. That’s why we were proud to be invited by Alfreton Park School to take part in their Careers Day.
Alfreton Park School provides education for students with special needs, and we were asked to speak with them about drone surveying.
The aim of our presentation was to introduce the students to the role of a drone surveyor and to demonstrate how drone technology is used in the field. Just as importantly, we wanted to reassure them that, with the right support and training, this is a viable and exciting career option – one they may never have previously considered or even thought possible.
On the day, we brought along our professional drone kit and explained how drone technology is transforming the way surveys are carried out in construction, land development, and beyond. Students were able to see first-hand:
