Aerial Drone Surveys
If you need a large area of land surveying rapidly, or struggle to access it. Then an Aerial Drone Survey is your best option.

Derby City Council reached out to us because they were struggling with a leak in the roof of the Velodrome following the heavy rain during winter. The leak was falling onto the track, which would cause a problem once athletes returned to train and race.
They needed a quick and detailed method to identify where the leak was coming from.
Traditional methods of building inspections often involve costly scaffolding, significant manpower, and time-consuming processes.
However, with the rise of drone technology, building surveys have become faster, safer, and more cost-effective.
What Is a Drone Survey?
Aerial drone surveys employ cutting-edge drone technology to capture high-resolution images and data from above, offering a unique vantage point that is not possible with traditional surveying methods.
This method is essential for planners, developers and conservationists who need to access, plan and manage projects with a comprehensive overview of the landscape.
How Did Our Client Benefit From a SolidPoint Survey?
Choosing a Drone Survey over traditional building surveying methods holds many benefits, however, there are 3 that stand out the most:
Identifying Structural Damage with Ease
One of the primary advantages of a drone survey is its ability to capture high-resolution footage, allowing for a thorough review of potential damage.
We were able to identify where the leak was within minutes of being on site.
Speed and Efficiency
Unlike traditional methods that could take days, the entire survey was completed in just 1 day, including processing time.
With a single operator required, the job was done quickly and efficiently, minimising disruption and reducing overall labour costs.
Significant Cost Savings
Traditional building inspections often require scaffolding or lifting equipment, which can be expensive and time-consuming to install.
By using a drone, our client saved a substantial amount by eliminating these additional costs.

Why Choose a Drone Survey?
Overall, this project took 12 hours to complete, and only cost £1,784, so if you’re looking for a cost-effective, efficient, and safe way to inspect your property, a drone survey might be the perfect solution.
